Yesterday some Balamba residents and landholders visited the Council on other trustee related business and were confused to find color coded 'zoning' maps for their own lots and surrounds seeming:
i. to prescribe the future use of the service station (see photo above) to be pink 'low density residential'
ii. to prescribe the future use of one residents private lot to be olive 'special purposes'
iii. to prescribed the future use of the nursery to be grey instead of a brighter yellow 'community facility'
Being confused about the color coding on display, and finding nobody available to explain this seemingly mismatched and incongruous zoning of existing uses and existing facilities, one of the residents found it necessary to directly address the Mayor, asking him personally if he might be able to "please explain all those colors", also asking if any of the other Deed of Grant trustees are able to explain those colors?
